Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Beyond1n0, Gary Cheung’s personal professional website about AI governance, information risk and accountable business decisions. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please stop using the site.
1. Purpose and professional boundaries
Articles, frameworks, checklists and other materials provide general information and editorial analysis for discussion and learning. They are not legal, regulatory, investment or other professional advice tailored to your circumstances, and do not establish that a particular system or organization is safe, compliant or suitable for a specific use.
Views expressed are Gary’s own unless expressly attributed to another source. They do not represent an employer, client or other organization, and no employer endorsement should be inferred.
You remain responsible for your business decisions, approvals and implementation. Assess the evidence, jurisdiction and circumstances relevant to your situation and obtain appropriate specialist advice where needed.
2. AI Governance Decision Review and enquiries
The AI Governance Decision Review is an informal thought exchange. Submitting a scenario, receiving a response or using a framework does not create a consulting engagement, professional-client relationship, assurance opinion, approval or obligation to respond. Gary reviews a limited number of submissions and a response is not guaranteed.
A formal engagement, if separately offered and agreed, requires its own written scope and terms. These website terms do not promise paid services, implementation support or particular outcomes.
Do not submit confidential business information, customer or employee records, credentials, restricted security details or material you lack authority to share. Submission through a website form does not create a confidential advisory channel or a non-disclosure agreement. Information handling and the use of anonymized Decision Review patterns are explained in the Privacy Policy.
3. Responsible use
Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, impersonate others, send spam or publish unlawful, abusive or misleading material. Do not use forms or comments to disclose someone else’s personal or confidential information.
Public comments may be moderated, edited for privacy or removed. Access or submissions may be restricted where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or protect the site and its visitors.
4. Content ownership and sharing
Gary or the relevant rights holder retains rights in original articles, graphics, frameworks and other material. Third-party quotations, images, trademarks and linked resources remain subject to their owners’ rights. Any specific license stated for a resource takes precedence for that resource.
You may link to public pages and share brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original. You may use resources for your own learning and internal discussion unless a resource states otherwise. Republishing complete articles, selling or redistributing resources, or presenting material as your own requires permission unless allowed by applicable law or an express license.
5. Material you submit
You retain any rights you have in your submissions. By submitting a comment intended for publication, you permit its display and moderation on the site. By sending an enquiry or Decision Review scenario, you permit its processing for the purposes described on the form and in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having authority to submit the material.
These terms do not transfer ownership of private submissions or grant permission to publish identifiable enquiry details. Anonymized Decision Review patterns may inform future writing as disclosed on that form; public comments are visible to other readers.
6. Sources, illustrative examples and external links
Articles may distinguish reported facts, illustrative scenarios and editorial judgment. A hypothetical example is not evidence of a client engagement or a guaranteed result. Laws, guidance and technical practices can change after publication; check current primary sources before relying on a statement.
Links are provided for context and convenience. Beyond1n0 does not control external websites, their availability, privacy practices or terms. A link does not by itself imply endorsement or a commercial relationship.
7. Availability, accuracy and liability
Reasonable care is taken in preparing content, but material can contain errors or become outdated. The site and its materials are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, completeness, suitability for your purpose or any particular outcome. Please report apparent errors through the Contact page.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gary is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on its general informational content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory rights you may have.
8. Changes and contact
The site and these terms may change. The date above identifies the latest version; changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights already accrued. Any applicable mandatory law prevails over conflicting wording in these terms.
For questions, permissions, corrections or concerns, contact Gary Cheung through the Contact page.
